Inside you will find a combination of original fittings and modern luxuries. A new cream wood burning stove will keep you warm while you relax in the vintage arm chairs and the kingsized bed is covered in a patchwork quilt. Shelves of vintage suitcases store your belongings and the original wooden floorboards run throughout. A clever use of found materials have created a cosy dining area.

We have installed a wood fired hot tub in which to lie back and watch the night sky, why not come and try her out.

The newly fitted kitchen is small and compact and is equipped with a full sized cooker, fridge and sink. Towels and tea towels are provided and the bed will be made up for you. Each part of the Duchess has been considered and worked on by all of us so that it will feel like a home away for home.

Right beside her, with a sedum roof, we have built a quirky wooden bathroom complete with a bath and shower and lit at night by twinkling fairy lights. The site in which the Duchess sits was once just a jungle of brambles but now it is a beautiful and private garden to relax in. Complete with a fire pit and grade benches we hope it will be a delight to our visitors. The grass is growing and the flower beds are flowering in front of the vivid blue exterior of the Duchess.
